The Beginning: AIR CAVALRY
In 1994, a squad of older scouts, interested mostly in aviation, parachuting,
and model airplane building was separated off from 134 WDH II "VICTORIA".
This squad was designed to serve as a foundation for a new, specialty scout
team. With the order L1/94, on October 1, 1994, a team 134 WDH III named
"KAWALERIA POWIETRZNA" ("AIR CAVALRY") was officially brought to existence,
which in the future was supposed to become an aviation scout team. Members
of the team trained not only in scout craft, but also received basic
aviation knowledge.
MOST (THE BRIDGE) - The Creation
Summer of 1997 brings a wave of tragic floods in southern Poland.
After those events, GK ZHP initiates a program "BˇD¬ GOTÓW" ("BE PREPARED"),
which is directed mostly to older scouts. The scout team increases in
number with high school students, who can't really reach their full
potential when combined with younger scouts from junior high and grade
schools. There is also scouts from former KAW-POW (AIR CAV.).
The attitudes are not at the best level, older scouts are working really
hard, and not gaving anything in return. Everybody wants more...
In February 1999, MOST is created. Former scout master/team
leader of 134 WDH III "AIR CAVALRY" becomes the first team leader
of MOST.
Name and motto
Why MOST?
MOST is a symbol, which can have different meanings for various people;
however, always sharing something common!
MOST is a structure comprised of many different elements, where all of
them have to work together.
MOST is a structure connecting two opposing shores.
MOST with Sobieski monument, located in Lazienki, is a place where
Warrant Officers gathered right before heading to Belweder
and Arsenal, initiating Powstanie Listopadowe (Polish November Uprising).
MOST was a code name for an operation, the transportation of
Russian Jews, headed to Israel through Poland.

Motto
The motto for the team is a slogan: "BˇD¬ GOTÓW!" ("BE PREPARED!").
We are always prepared, for anything, to be able to report to duty at any
moment, when we are needed, to help others...
Recruiting
It is really easy to get into this scout team. All you need to do is
show up at one of the meetings, which take place at least once a month.
One thing necessary to become a scout in MOST is a desire.
The training that the team provides is very interesting; however,
it requires a significant share of involvement and commitment.
It's not always easy to share time between scouting, education,
work, and family. For that reason, some of the members are forced
to leave the team, sometimes without even giving any reason.
One specific thing about the team is that it does not have any entry
tests, or selections, which in turn became very popular among scout teams
with military/defensive speciality. Here, everybody has some positive
attributes, which can be discovered and used, in and by the team. Even
the best cannot sit and rest, but have to continuously develop and
master their skills and abilities. That is the standard of this scout
team. The motivation is in you, and all you need is a desire!
